Texas Reads!
Help us to deliver books to 1,000 children living in poverty in Dallas, Texas this June!
Reading as a community and the shared reading experience has amazing benefits for both children and the community. Texas Reads! is an initiative of Authoring Life, in partnership with the World Literacy Foundation and Half Priced Books of Richardson, with the goal of placing 100,000 books into impoverished communities across Texas over the next year.
We are beginning this initiative in June of 2023 by partnering with the Jindal Young Scholars Program of the University of Texas at Dallas to collect 1,000 books for the communities of Richardson and Dallas.
Texas Reads! is ensuring children all across Texas have the opportunity to read more.
